Been there... too many times. Bosch injection does not like the square
wave trigger signal (tach) that comes out of these type of ignition
boxes.

Since I'm coming in to this in the middle (as I assume the rest of
the list is), I'm assuming this is a 73 V-12, an E-type. This wiring
scheme may work with a D-jet XJ*. It will also work with the E-type,
except the induction tach will read a constant 0 rpm. I have been 
through this on many different types of cars. There is always a way
to make it work, but in a lot of cases you must *really* want to
use the MSD-type ignition.
