Message authorized by: : 101547.1141@CompuServe.COM%ussmtp at ccx400uk John I was ordered to tidy up my magazines this weekend so I took the opportunity to leaf through some of them whilst I did it. As you say, the sales figures for the face lift XJR-S's do seem to be a secret. The only figure I can find is in Paul Skilleters XJ-S collectors guide where he estimates around 500 6.0 litre cars were built. I assume this includes both body shapes. Now you come to mention it I have only seen pictures of the face lift cars although Jaguar World published around the time they were produced gave the prices for a few countries in Europe (including the UK) and also mentioned that countries such as Japan and Australia would sell them too. All sources I came across said that 100 facelift XJR-S's in total (50 convertibles and 50 coupes) were sent to the US in '93 not 100 of each as Victor Naumann indicates. I think I have seen the Lister you mention on offer in a few magazines, very tempting. I believe they cost up to 140,000 pounds originally so it is a bit of a bargain!
