[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Mark II Brakes
Greetings I am looking to upgrade the brakes on my '64 Mk II having overshot a marshall on a recent rally due to faded front brakes. If anyone has any general experience I would appreciate your wisdom. I do have a couple of specific question: 1: Does anyone know of any brake calipers that will provide additional pad area, but will fit (or can be made to fit) on to Mk II front uprights? 2: I believe if you replace the uprights with 420 ones that one can fit the 3 pot calipers from 420/Series II E type? Has anyone done this? Any advice eg can I retain the Mk II stub axle and brake disc? Thanks and regards Brian Askew '64 MK II '85 XJSC
