Check the modulator valve. If it is defective, transmission fluid can be
pulled into the intake manifold. (Pull off the vacumn line from the
modulator valve at the intake manifold, if there is transmission fluid
present in the line, you have found your problem) In addition, if there is
too much fluid in the transmission, it will be forced out the bleed vent
located at the top of the unit.
