The "cat" left me stranded at the grocery store yesterday, and had to be towed home. The car has been running great, but would not start upon leaving the store. All of the instrumentation, as well as the fuel pump came on when I tryed to start the engine. When turning the key to the start position, nothing happens (silence- like you hear when trying to start car with fuel cutoff engaged). I checked the battery once I got home and it is fine. Do you think this may be a starter problem? I didn't see anything in the archives concerning this problem. Thanks in advance for the help. Bob Shipley 88 XJ-S Hess & Eisenhardt
