Thanks for the tips Kirbert...  I went to the junk yard this morning,
and could only find a few GMs with fans still in them.  Apparently they
are a "hot" item here.  Fortunately, I remembered someone mentioned the
Fiero.  Gold mine.  Everything else was picked over really good, but
nobody messes with Fieros.  I saw several with fans too small, but two
had 16+ inch fans.  $21 a piece, $26 with warranty.  Not bad.  The Fiero
was a real generous doner car... the fan mounts at an angle in the front
where there are no components to get in the way.  Less than five minutes
with a 10mm socket.  The bottom bolts are easily reached too.

It looks like the Fiero shroud can be cut down considerably, and the
remaining portions bolted into the flat trailing vertical edge of the
inside of the jag shroud.

My only problem is now when I went to Test the fans they arc welded the
wires to my battery.  (Hopefully I pulled back before doing damage to
anything, sigh).  How do you test these things safely?
