Hi all, Has anyone had call to replace the aircon compressor on their V12 with any other model than the A6 ? The PO on my 78 XJ12 has removed the airpump and replaced it with a jockey wheel, looking at the gap left, I don't think I can get the A6 in it's place but I suspect a smaller unit from a more modern vehicle might. It would make working on the 12 a bit roomier with the delco unit out of the way, it would also make the engine bay a hell of a lot neater. Any suggestions for a replacement unit that would be up to the job ? I plan to trawl the wreckers for an appropriate unit but if anyone has been there already I'd love the input.
