[xj-s] Flushing block

I agree with Kirby that the water pump has to be removed if you want to
flush the block. Instead of back flushing from the thermostat housing, how
about removing the thermostat housing and connecting a hose to the transfer
pipe. Blocking the holes that the thermostat housing uses, you would then
be able to force water into the back of the block with the only exit being
the front. There are several reasons this might be better. First, using
the thermostat housing requires some sort of fabrication. Second, I think
the water being injected into both the front and rear of the block would
cause eddy currents and might prevent the crud being moved forward (trust me
there is A LOT of crud in there). And lastly it will give you an opportunity
to replace the water seals and pipe if needed. My local Jaguar mechanic
tells me this is a very common leaking point.
