[xj-s] Remote keyless installation

I know that something about this was posted before, but I never saw it...

I wanted to install a remote keyless entry system, but I'm unsure if it's
possible with my car ('78 xj-s).

For the door locks, I'm concerned that because of the rocker switches that
operate the door locks, I won't be able to connect the keyless receiver
them.  This wouldn't work because I won't be able to override the rocker
switches, unless I disconnect them and have the locks operated by just the
remote.  Anybody know anything about this?

And I was thinking about making the trunk lock keyless too.  But I'm not
sure if it's possible without a whole lot of trouble.  I guess I need a
solenoid to operate the locking mechanism, but can I just buy a solenoid,
or do I need to buy the solenoid and lock together for it to work?

any help at all would be much appreciated
