[xj-s] power steering leak

my car still has a bad leak in the power steering system. I rebuilt the
pump last autumn and the rack was replaced a little over a year ago, but
the leak continues. I think it's coming from one of the hoses, or the
connections to the cooler, because fluid drips down all over the front
crossmember. It loses about 8 ounces a week and seems to be getting worse.
Today I took the car and my ramps to a self-serve car wash to try to clean
up the mess under there so I could see what's going on, but I haven't been
able to yet. It's a real mess, burned crap all over the cats and exhaust
pipes, oil and dirt everywhere (yes there's a front seal leak too).

My question is, how do I get to the hoses and the cooler? It seems like
it's impossible to access anything in there...do I have to take the rack
out first? Also, what is the fluid path starting at the pump?
How much time should I allow?

                                                jb
