I suppose it's some sort of sign of British stubbornness that it wasn't corrected sooner; 1971-88 is a long time to remain in denial about such a fundamental problem with such horrendous consequences. > All 6 cyl.s? The Jag six surely had a centrifugal until the advent of electronics, but it most certainly was not the same unit as the V-12. Since I only concern myself with V-12's, I dunno if they suffered the same problem.
