Vic covered one way of setting the base idle screw. I use a device like described in another message to drive the IAC shut. It all acomplishes the same thing. Throttle butterfly setting is 0.002 inch. I want reiterate/ reinforce something Vic mentioned. The ECU does it's idle speed game, via the IAC, *only* when the engine is at idle; throttle closed. It determines the throttle is closed by the TPS.
