hi steven, i replaced the battery in my 1967 daimler sovereign with some simple electronic. if my memory serves me right, the voltage is 2.4 volts (please make sure and look into the manual). i took a low-energy-constant-voltage-regulator (or whatever the correct translation is ). it can be set to the correct voltage. the 'low-energy' is important, or your battery will loose power very quick. these parts are cheap an do not have to be changed again. Your local electronic dealer will give you advice. ascii diagramm + -----------XXXXXX----------> to clock ! ! R1 ! XXXXX = 3-pin-regulator from !------! R1 = resistor 12V ! R2 = resistor Battery R2 ! Ground -------------------- second possibility is a pack of batteries in a separate case. regards peter stiens 420 daimler sovereign 1967 stiens@t-online.de http://home.t-online.de/home/stiens <-- free private jaguar advertisements Follow-Ups:
