Further to the hot starting problems.

Well, chapter 2...

May not be a leaking injector after all. I put a guage set in the fuel
rail, and running is about 30 psi (normal according to the manual). Stop
the engine, and it drops to 0 "immediately".

Next question, The regulator holds the system at 30 or so lbs, and the
non-return valve keeps the gas from going back to the tank. What might be
the most likely candidate for failure? On starting shouldn't I get fuel
pressure from the pump immediately, or does the regulator valve have to
sense vacuum to let gas flow?

Either way it appears to be no gas on cranking... Once something fires she
is off to the races.

Stay tuned for chapter 3, boy am I learning from this beast!

Tom, who should be working, but needs daylight to work on the Jag (now I
work tonight in the office).
