If you have the alloy wheel, the center polished cap has a clip on the
backside with 3 "feet" that snap inside the wheel. These can break off.
Maybe the PO decided to just glue it in place but they won't hold very
well. Unfortunately, you can't get just the clip seperate. It comes with
the polished cap.
