Installed one of these pans years ago. The deeper oil pan is supposed
to come with a longer pickup so the distance from the pick up to the
bottom of the pan remains the same. Without this longer pick up I don't
think you are getting the benefits of cooler transmission fluid. You
might want to call JC Whitney on this. The pick up I beleive is
plastic, so its difficult to fab up something.
