Ok...good thought, but I don't want to buy another fuel pump.... that
was 80 bucks, for something that can't possible work as well. For
instance, their's will run it the water pump at higher rpm while the car
idles...

Could someone with a little more skill figure out which of the four
water pump systems this company makes would be the easiest to fit on a
jag? It was 117 today... I don't want to crawl under my XJ12 to measure
the shaft holding the pully--- you should see my drywall in my house, I
am not competent to measure and cut anything.

www.stewartcomponents.com

Another member has emailed them, but I expect they will be like
Autozone... "We don't have any that will fit that."

One of you engineering types probably has a V12 and or water pump
sitting in your airconditioned machine shop. Be a good fellow and
measure the shaft diameter, and the distance it extends out so we can
figure which (or whether) chevy or ford dual drive pump will fit. (Oh
hell, make whatever other measurements should be made... I'm winging it
here)

It is highly likely I will try such a mod, and I am pretty sure another
member will too. Ok, I'll offer to be the lab "cat"... right after I
get my beast back on the road. (Its been sitting long time now, but it
starts and runs)

73XJ12 (STILL SITTING! argh) Maybe $teve could come clean her.
