I am looking at the parts catalogue, and it has a good diagram (page 1I
11L). Assuming you don't have the book I will try to describe: I am
assuming your eninge is before 8S11160, when the California plumbing changed.

The valve near the rear of the engine is labelled "Retard Inhibit" and has
(from the bottom) a hose going to the port on the front of the throttle
body, a hose which goes to the centre of the other valve, and a hose which
goes to a tee piece and then to the air filter box.

The valve near the front of the engine (with a hex body?) is labelled "Over
Temp." and has a hose going to the tee piece above, a hose which is the
hose to the centre of the other valve, and a hose which goes to the
distributor vacuum retard module.

A hose from the rear of the manifold goes to a tee piece and thence to the
diverter valve (and somewhere else?). A hose from the top of each throttle
body join at a tee piece and go to the carbon cannister.

I do not know if the transmission modulator hose goes direct to the
manifold or to the tee piece.

Good luck.
