Since I'm in the midst of things here, I'm considering a few changes
myself:

1) Remove ALL paint from cam covers, leaving them aluminum colored
instead of black. Alternatively, considering repainting them black,
then filing the tops of the ridges to reveal the aluminum there only.

2) Still working on some way to do something prettier than that
sorry "Jaguar" decal on the cam covers. Ideal would be the exact
same insignia cast in brass and attached with brass screws, but can't
seem to find anything that nice. Been looking at key fobs with no
luck. Anybody know of any nice Jaguar belt buckles?

3) Considering painting the air filter housings the same color as
the car -- Electric Currant (pearl metallic red).

4) Considering relocating the fuel injector harness off the block
and up a coupla inches to suspended around the level of the joint
between the intake manifolds and the heads. Would make it more
visible, which might not be considered good, but it wouldn't tend to
collect so much crap as down at the bottom of the V -- and it might
not get cooked so badly either. The fact that I could more
effectively steam clean the valley might be considered an appearance
plus.

5) Considering filing the tops of the ridges on the intake
manifolds, just to give them a "machined" look.
