He claimed it was the fuel injection system going in and out of closed loop. On my car, it remained the same until 90,000 miles, then got worse after I replaced the cam cover and inlet mainfold gaskets. (I assume that one of the vacuum hoses wasn't up to the job of being removed and replaced. I've replaced some of them, but no improvement.) Follow-Ups:
