Horns-a-plenty and wiring

Hi all.

I have an 87 XJ6 S3. I have been trying to locate the problem with the horns. If they are hooked-up they don't stop! I have searched for a ground but the only wiring diagram I have is for an earlier model and the colors are all wrong. Is this a common problem? Does anyone have any pointers?

Also, I found a very large red wire in the trunk. It was cut in two pieces and one end was grounded. It (the grounded piece) was attached to nothing. I have not traced the other piece yet. Any ideas?

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this model. If so, I would appreciate it.

I took my first extended drive in it this weekend and it was wonderful!

Any info on cruise control would also be appreciated. I read the article on the web but don't know what a "stalk" is. I know, I need to learn alot!

Thanks for the help.........Pat
