Hi, A few questions for the "petrol heads" among you, relating to the XJ6 fuel delivery system: 1. what pressure will the standard S1 XJ6 SU pump setup pump at? 2. What have people found a single pump (ie standard setup) capable of supporting in terms of horse-power (approx) before getting lean-out problems? 3. is it OK to run both pumps at once? would both pumps support 400+ BHP, and how would both pumps be best plumbed to avoid stress on the pumps and uneven tank levels? Presumably two pumps going at once would not increase pressure? Would the higher volume experience a greater pressure drop considering the comparatively smmall size of the fuel line, thereby reducing most of the benefits of the higher volume? 4. would I be better going for a bigger fuel line, say 3/8 inch, and using a custom pump if I needed to support 400+ neddies. You'll notice I have tried very hard not to mention that my Jag is a hybrid! I appreciate any feedback. Cheers, Andrew Robertson, New Zealand.
