Well most of the paint is off. You don't realise how large an XJ6 is until you have to scrap all of the paint off. Now I find some major corrosion that needs some advise from the lists bodywork experts. The main areas of corrosion are : The bottom lip where the rubber boot seal clips on. The bottom of the doors. The channel where the door seal clips in has completely gone on two doors. One has accident damage and probably needs a new skin. Rust holes around the front windscreen. Does anyone know a source in the UK for good second hand doors. Does anyone know a company that sells repair sections for any of the above areas. Any advise greatly appreciated for possible ways to deal with the above problems and fitting of new sections. I do not want to use plastic filler on this project. Body solder is my only option. Any advise on that would be helpful too. Many Thanks Laurie Roberts XJ6 Slll respray prep in slow progress Rover 827 Sterling Honda ST1100 Pan European Royal Enfeild 350 Clipper Kawasaki Z250 Scorpion
