Randy, Last weekend I did the brakes on an '89 Range Rover. Clearly stamped on the reservoir, and even more clearly explained in the owner's handbook was the requirement to use no less than DOT 4 fluid. This is in contrast to various British cars of the '70s which had 'DOT3' stamped on their plastic reservoirs.
