     Well said, John.  The shaddy personal value systems unearthed by this 
     thread make me less than proud to be part of what I thought once to be 
     an august gathering.  Come on, lads un lasses!  Don't mire yourselves 
     in this covetous nonsense.

     Exactly.  Jaguars are great... FOR US!!  But we should have no need to 
     force our views and feelings on others who do not naturally share 
     them.

     Yep, -- although I'm not sure I fully agree with your characterization 
     of the quintessentially beautiful XJ-S, but at least you phrase it in 
     the nicest possible taste.
