Hi Jacques

While I can't offer much advice on this problem, I can offer moral support
as someone else with the same disease! I own a '72 XJ S1 Daimler Sovereign
who has a similar problem. My father borrowed the car just after I bought
it in September last year (I'm 21). He was showing it off to some teacher
colleagues. You can imagine their surprise (and panic) when smoke started
coming from the steering column :-o Apparently all of the indicators
flashed at completely random intervals, earning Dad some strange and
not-too-polite gestures from fellow road users :-)
It turned out that the indicator switch in the steering column packed a
sad. They are quite expensive to replace new (about $US120), and it's
difficult to source a used part.

I think you have encountered a rare disorder, Creutzfeldt-Jaguar Disease.
The symptons are complete loss of direction, lack of understanding about
water dispersal and general Although little is known about this diseaseHere
are some others to watch out for...

	Campylojaguar (aka fuel poisoning)
	Hepatitis E-Type
	Pneumatica
Alternative Exhaling Disease (AED) (symptom: choking)
Alzdaimler's Disease (only affects models with trip computers)

Anyway, hope you find the solution.

'72 XJ S1 Daimler Soveriegn (also with mad jag disease)
