Why don't you try the stall test and see what speed it is really stalling at. Stall speeds are engine dependent. There is really, no such thing as a 1750 RPM stall speed converter. This is a nomianl designation of some sort that depends on the engine it is behind. The converter that gives 1750 rpm stall on a 6 cylinder might go to 2100 on a V-12. In my opinion, the reason you car feels slower is because something is wrong with your transmission. > As I mentioned in my last post, mine rev's > to 22-2300 rpm before shifting. Shouldn't it be shifting at 16-1750 rpm > with this converter? The converter does not influence the shift points. If your car shifts at 22-2300 rpm, there is a problem unrelated to the converter. I seem to recall that you had this work done by a shop. If so, go back to the shop and tell them your transmission is not shifting at the right speeds. To support your case, it would not hurt to carry a Jaguar repair manual with you to show them the speeds it should shift at. Thomas E. Alberts
