[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Mk2 Strange Brake Feel
When I am waiting at a stop light with my foot lightly on the brake pedal, the pedal begins to slowly rise lifting my foot with it. If I press harder I can overcome it, but if I let it continue it rises to the top of its travel where it "clicks" and falls back to a more normal position. The boost seems normal. I guess this must be a leak between the servo piston push rod and the slave cylinder piston. This would be more likely to leak when the application pressure was light since it depends on the force of the servo piston to seal it and it connects with the master cylinder. Is this a common problem? Do I need to do anything about it?
