Development, production, racing history, and mechanics all in one book. Chris Harvey is an avid collector/driver, and this book offers his knowledge and expertise to like minded individuals. When I was looking for a car, I found the two chapters on strengths and weaknesses to be particularly helpful. He even includes photos of rusty cars to illustrate what you DON'T want in the car you buy. There is a handy set of technical drawings, reproduced from the factory parts book. If you are thinking about getting into the hobby, an important source of fuel for the decision process. "E-type: End of an Era" splits the difference between exhaustive Porter and digest Skilleter.
