Reutter Seats for 150There is a fellow here with a 150 DHC in the UK with Reutter seats (a period extra). Anyone on the list have these / seen them / have any literature, ads etc for them? They were a custom seat back, reclining etc apparently. - Regards, John Elmgreen Porsche had the same seats... hmmmmm john shuck.beijing I beleive it was Reutter that made all the bodies for Porche until the mid sixties. - Wray Schelin Wray, As my previous comments have said, I'm NOT a stickler for accuracy, and have one LOUSY back. I don't think anyone in their right mind would coose to take any XK for long drives whe confronted with the regular seats. I had the opportunity to buy a set of "Recaro like" seats at a junkyard. Condition was A one. He even said he'd refund my money if they didn't fit or work out. With a bit of jockeying I did manage to mount them in my 140 FHC. They were comfortable BUT caused the car to look funny as all get out!. I used them for a while, 'til my back got somewhat better. The junk guy kept his word and refunded my money. Oh well, there goes comfort! - Barry Goldman They became Recaro sometime in the 70s I think. - Midget Susan
