150 Grease Seals
Hello All; Does anyone know how thick the grease seals on the front stub axles should be on a 150? The replacements I just received are 3/8's of an inch; quite a bit thicker than the old seals even accounting for compression over time. Thanks Ron 150 dhc As I recall, I had the same problem with my seals. I sometimes wonder why vendors do not take time to spec the parts they sell us. Anyway I trimmed mine to the thickness of the old ones and left a little extra for compression. Not very scientific, but it worked. Nearly 10,000 miles on the front end without problems.
