Jerry Oliver sent in some images of his 150 FHC S836996DN (engine, interior, exterior)

The less than tidy engine compartment of S836996DN. A detached oil pump return tube has struck a piston. The engine will need to come out.
After a seven month wait, the engine has returned from the machine shop, and now is having a number of bolt ons reattached. During the interim, the engine compartment has been cleaned and repainted.   With Overdrive transmission attached, the reinstallation looks nearly impossible in that small engine compartment.

The engine and transmission and the many items removed from the firewall during repainting have been reinstalled. Startup is near.   The interior was completed just a few months before the engine problem. Removing the seats, carpets, and tunnel from the spare room in the house and putting them back in the car is very satisfying.   With the aid of an understanding wife, the bonnet is reinstalled, the car washed and is pictured warming for a test run. After several adjustments, the engine responds, and she runs with amazing power.
