Front Seat Removal

How difficult is it to remove the front seats completely? I would like to get at the rug and foot well area easily without worrying about getting things on the leather etc ...

Not hard, you'll need the right tool though if yours is the same as mine. The rear bolts (front too I think) aren't normal bolt heads, they're torx (star shape or more like an * actually). You can get the bit to plug into your socket wrench. Other than that if I remember correctly all you had to do was slide the seat back and forwards depending on which nut you wanted. One caution though if you have a Sovereign (optional) or Daimler (std.) they had electric adjustable drivers seat. I pulled the passenger's side not the drivers, but I believe there's just one additional set of wires difference. The passenger wiring is for the seat belt sensor.
