Taillamp Improvements

Improving Taillamp Function and Appearance

Alex Cannara

There are several improvements that can be made to improve the taillamps.  These will serve to direct more light through the lens, as well as give the lamps more of a 'glow' rather than having a bright spot where the bulb is.

Degrease the surfaces with acetone or other suitable solvent.  Use high-temp white spray paint on the cap of the marker lamp (use a Sylvania #93 bulb for a brighter appearance).  Also use white paint on the metal dividers, and on the reflector of the reverse lamp.

Use high-temp yellow paint on the directional indicator reflector, and on the the cap of the lamp.
