Hi Alastair, my name is Sue Salsburg and I'm writing from New Jersey,USA. Just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed your contributions to the Saloons list. I've only had a computer for 3 months and the list has paid back the cost already. Just finished reading your web page-everything from clocks to caves. Do you ever sleep? It seems that Jag people just are brighter and have more interests- too bad I don't have the income to go with it. I do love my MKII although my poor husband, David, is burned-out working on it. We call her Gracie( from Grace, Space and Pace). She's a 61,MOD and at present is my only car( I refuse to drive my husband's pick-up truck). She goes to work every day, shopping, club events and all our long trips. We've rebuilt the motor and stripped/painted the body but the leather will have to wait. Now if I can just get some heat on these snowy days! How can a car that overheats all summer be so cold in the winter? I'll try to include a photo taken this fall on a Jag club tour in Pennsylvania.
