It should be easy to check this theory, as an 'efficient' radiator with insufficient water flow will give cooler water at the outlet (lower hose) when idling, wheras an inefficient radiator with sufficient water flow will give hotter water at the outlet when idling. regards, Mike Follow-Ups:
