[xj-s] XJ-S rear gear change?

Hello all,
I'm new to Jag-Lovers, but not that new to the cars.  I am inquiring
about a differential gear change for the Dana model on my '85.  I
currently have the 2.88:1 ratio and would like to switch to 3.45:1 or
so.  
Has anyone done this yet?  Any similar experience to share?
The gearing change is a must, since I have gotten a considerable
amount of more hp out of this wonderful engine, I need to be able to
put it to the tarmack.

BTW For anyone interested, I had a recent encounter with another XJ-S,
albeit a Chevy conversion (For Shame!) at a light last week.  The
gentleman, thought that he had achieved the perfect balance between
engine and looks, and challenged me to a duel.  Unfortunately for him,
the stark reality was that nothing can compare with the potential of
the V-12.
Just wanted to share that with everyone.
