There are special solder connectors sold in good parts stores that solder the wires and apply a heat shrink tube around the solder at the same time. The way it works is you just insert the stripped wires to the tube, apply heat and the solder pellet inside melts, and the tue shrinks at the same time. A thin, sealed, solder connection. I know these are great because my company invented them (made by Raychem corporation). Using these connectors you never have to worry about quality of connection, or corrosion again. Unfortunately they are a bit expensive, but what isn't on a Jaguar?....:) Julian Mullaney
