My car came with these. I threw them away (sorry pal) because I didn't
see the point of having them. If you put plastic covers over your fog
lights you have to stop, get out and take them off before you can use
the fog lights. Fog being what it is in England, namely patchy, you'd
be getting in and out of the car several times on a ten-mile trip.
Somehow that much work doesn't seem to fit the image of a luxury car.

The good news is that after four years the fog lights still haven't got
any stone chips. (The bad news is that I smashed one of the headlights
in an accident, and the other one DID get a stone chip, and they're much
more expensive. ;-()

Anyway, what I'm trying to ask is: If you're using the fog lights, why
cover them up ? If you're living in an area that isn't prone to fog
and you're not using them and you're worried about stone chips, why
not take off the lights entirely ?

Regards,
