AFAIK, with certain hand built exceptions, there was never a production XJS V12 with a manual transmission. I was under the impression that the 6 cyl 5 speed was available in the US since the introduction of the later body style, with the 1992 model. At the risk of being considered a heretic, don't fret over having the 6 cyl versus the 12. If I could have done it, I would have preferred a 6 cylinder 5 speed over the V12 automatic that I own.
