[xj-s] Fuel Inj. hose

Does anyone know the size on the FI hose to the injectors?? (1978 XJ-S)
While trying to change the fuel filter on my 1994 Eagle Talon I had to saw
off the lower fuel line. (who has a # 14 flare wrench when you need it?) I
could not find a FI hose size to join the steel fuel line. A 5/16 was too
big and the local parts store had nothing else. (they tried to sell me
regular gas line hose, saying all the local mechanics use it)
I finally found a old piece of FI hose from the Jaguar left over from a
prior project. The size is slightly smaller that 5/16. Fits the fuel rail
to injector. I had heard somewhere that is was a metric size avaliable at
the local BMW dealer. A size and source would be appreciated.
