From: Derek Berquist <dberquist@marmen.com> <snip> >The first thing I'm doing is changing the oxygen sensors. And I can't get >the >things to budge with the wrench. I'm afraid of pulling to hard and tearing >apart the whole manifold! (Should I be concerned about that?) <snip> Go ahead and let some WD-40 soak in there for a few hours. It will smoke a bit after you restart it, but it shouldn't cause serious problems. Make sure you are using a good quality wrench. The difference between using cheap wrenchs and good ones when doing difficult jobs in tight spaces is larger than one might expect. Also, wear some good leather gloves in case things pop loose in a hurry. Your hands might appreciate it! As you are getting into doing this sort of work, establish the practice of always considering where your body parts are going to move when that )(*(*_ bolt finally lets go. Good luck! John
