[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] FW: [xj-s] Bad Speedo
It sounds kind of suspicious that the speedo would work for a mile after tightening that screw, so maybe your problem is different than what I've experienced.....I've had problems with the transducer that mounts to the transmission. It basically takes the mechanical turning of the transmission and changes it to an electrical signal to run the speedometer. I've had several in the car and they've all lasted anywhere from a year to a month. Sometimes they just die solid, sometimes they work intermittently.
