You may have air bubbles in the cooling system. i know sounds stupid but I
get the water sound whenever I start mine (got a blown head gasket) and it
is air bubbles going through the heater matrix when the water pump starts.
if the level get low enough you'll hear it when driving occasionally. Check
your water level. I hope you haven't got my problem and you're just running
low.
