Watch those washers, Kirkby. I thought of replacing mine with some "standard" ones I had lying around. If you do this the hole in the banjo bolt doesn't align with the feed hole in the tappet block! The thin washers come with a sort of pressed in ridge which mashes flat when you tighten the bolt. Needless to say, you absolutely MUST use these odd washers, and not the standard thickness. I understand the XJ40 has some sort of steel washer with a rubber seal around the inner edge somewhere on the car, should I be looking for similar parts here? BTW, the copper washers on the banjo fitting on the B bank, which I've never been into before, were the THINNEST copper seals I've ever seen.
