Some of the auto paint and body repair stores are now carrying a closed cell, semi-rigid foam for filling sills, posts, rockers etc. It requires a special gun to inject it. Luckily my friendly local store/body shop said they will lend me their gun when I am ready to foam. Foam injection has been a chasis stiffening technique used in the racing industry for a while. Of course some of the higher end auto manufactuors adopted it. Apparently it works very well. It seems like a must do for convertibles. Tom Sturdivant Follow-Ups:
