Perfectly.  It's going in the book.

BTW, can you describe Marine Tex better for us?  Is it kinda like JB 
Weld?

Meanwhile, I've got Ron Morse working on making up some aluminum 
plugs to try that idea.  I still think there'd be a market for them 
if they work.

BTW, got the other cam cover off, the one which I installed myself a 
few years back.  That half moon seal was still pliable, although it 
felt harder than the brand new one I have laying around.  It was 
deformed somewhat, though, and clearly wasn't pressing the gasket 
against the bottom of the cam cover.
