In fact, a TH400 will die quicker from full-throttle 2-3 shifts than from going into reverse. Go figure. (Maybe this makes sense -- the TH400 was used in Caddys -- those drivers are a lot more likely to shift from D to R than they are to go from 2 to 3 under full throttle. GM knows its customers!) John
