[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [modern] Idleing RPM
Hi: I have one question about the rpm of idling. My '90 Daimler has a reading at about 800 rpm. When I shift the gear to D, the engine goes lower and the reding goes down to ~600 rpm. The car starts vibrating with a very little amplitude and a humming noise appears that you just cannot ignore. Is the reading of ~600 rpm correct for this car? Would it be the cause of the vibrating? Regards S.P. Peng '90 Daimler Taiwan
