[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Dash Board veneer
Evening all, As may be the case with lots of us the dash board on my 1985 Sov has been looking worse and worse from sun and heat so decided to reveneer it. In looking around for veneer ( I do a lot of woodwork also and keep up a Grand Banks 42 trawler wood boat) I ended up calling an outfit called Constantines (sp) in New York and ordering some French walnut veneer which came in today. The stuff is out of this world and will end up book matching in the center of the dash with no problem. Will keep you posted on how it turns out but they sure have some nice material. Now to the fun of putting it on and varnishing it out. Jim Blanton
